Pilobolus: A performance merging dance and biology

Pilobolus dance company members Otis Cook and Jennifer Macavinta perform the sensuous duet "Symbiosis." Does it trace the birth of a human relationship, or the co-evolution of a pair of symbiotic species? That's left for you to decide.

Gorgeous, organic choreography blurs the boundaries between the two performers, who use the body's own geometry to lift, move and combine. The music, recorded by the Kronos Quartet on Nonesuch Records, is a compilation of works: "God Music" from Black Angels by George Crumb, "Fratres" by Arvo Pärt, and "Morango ... Almost a Tango" by Thomas Oboe Lee.

China's best-known female soprano (女高音) of today - Song Zuying 宋祖英2006年美国演唱会

Song Zuying (Chinese: 宋祖英; Pinyin: Sòng Zǔyīng) (August 1, 1966) is a Chinese singer of Miao nationality. She was born in Guzhang county, Hunan province.

In 2006 her CD "The Diva Goes to the Movies: A Centennial Celebration of Chinese Film Song" was nominated for the 49th Annual Grammy Awards in the category of Best Classical Crossover Album.

Song Zuying is said to have secret relationship with the former Chinese President Jiang Zemin. A scholar in China named Lu Jiaping was arrested for exposing the relationship.

宋祖英（1966年8月13日－ ），湖南古丈县人，苗族，著名女歌唱家。毕业于中央民族学院音乐舞蹈系，中国音乐学院民族声乐研究生。

宋祖英出生于古丈县一个只有三户人家的苗家村寨。她是长女，父亲在她12岁时去世。1981年7月初中毕业后，她考入古丈县剧团为演员。三年后，宋祖英被调到土家族瑶族歌舞团。不到1年，宋祖英考入中央民族学院音乐舞蹈系，1987年毕业。1991年调入中国人民解放军海政歌舞团，国家一级演员，享受国务院“政府特殊津贴”，2005年7月出任海军政治部文工团(原海政歌舞团)副团长。她于1991年开始出道乐坛，主攻民族音乐。 她是第九届全国人大代表，全国青联委员，全国政协委员。

成长史
* 1988年l0月，在长沙由中国音协主办的“金龙杯”全国歌手邀请赛宋祖英以《阿哥莫走》获得金奖；被大 赛评委金铁霖收为学生。
* 成名曲，《小背篓》（1992年春节联欢晚会），其后几乎每年宋祖英都出现在春节联欢晚会上。
* 2002年12月，悉尼歌剧院“好日子”个人独唱音乐会；
* 2003年11月，维也纳金色大厅个人音乐会；
* 2006年10月，肯尼迪国家表演艺术中心《好一朵美丽的茉莉花》独唱音乐会；

榮譽
全國第二屆少數民族聲樂大賽金獎。2000年被中国文联授予“德艺双馨”艺术家称号，同年获“世界华人音乐民歌最佳演唱奖”。

家庭
1992年和罗浩结婚，2005年9月得一子。有傳，該子是前中共中央總書記江澤民與宋祖英的私生子，而不是宋與羅所生。也有不少人认为这纯属造谣。

有传闻宋祖英是前中共中央总书记江泽民的情妇。
